Nordic Pavilion Announces Appointment of Chairman and Vice Chairman for EXPO 2025 OSAKA

The Nordic Pavilion is delighted to announce the appointment of Magnus Schöldtz as Chairman and Idar Kreutzer as Vice Chairman from Sweden and Norway for the upcoming EXPO 2025 Osaka. This dynamic leadership team brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Pavilion, ensuring an unparalleled showcase of Nordic excellence at the event.

Magnus Schöldtz, former Ambassador and advisor at the Wallenberg Office, will lead the Nordic Pavilion as Chairman. With extensive experience in diplomacy and business development, Magnus has played key roles in fostering international relations and promoting economic growth across various sectors. His proven track record of fostering collaboration and driving innovation makes him poised to guide the Pavilion to new heights at EXPO 2025 Osaka.
"I am honored to assume the role of Chairman for the Nordic Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka," says Magnus Schöldtz. "This platform provides us with a unique opportunity to showcase the Nordic region's innovative spirit and commitment to sustainability."

Idar Kreutzer, appointed as Vice Chairman, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep understanding of global collaboration to the Pavilion. With a background in economics and finance, Idar has held various senior positions within the financial sector before joining the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). Currently serving as the Executive Director of International Affairs at NHO, Idar is at the forefront of advocating for Norwegian businesses and promoting international cooperation. His expertise in economic policy and his commitment to advancing sustainable business practices make him a valuable addition to the Pavilion's leadership team.

The Nordic Pavilion, representing Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden will stand out for its unique blend of three industry narratives, Circular Economy & Green Transition, Lifestyle & Wellbeing, Mobility & Connectivity and cultural heritage at EXPO 2025 Osaka. Through immersive exhibits and interactive experiences, visitors will discover the Nordic countries' contributions to global innovation and sustainability that highlights the best of Nordic culture and values.

Tender for the Expo 2025 Nordic exhibition published

The Nordic countries will participate at the World Exposition Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, with a joint Nordic pavilion already contracted. The Joint Nordic cooperation (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Norway) has decided to procure – through Innovation Norway – the Content, Exhibition, Visitor Journey, Visual Identity, Audio-Visual Equipment, Light Fit-Out and Furniture for the pavilion as a second tender to prepare for the Nordic participation at Expo 2025 Osaka.

The tender has been published on the Ted portal as a turn-key rental delivery. It is an open tender with pre-qualification and competitive dialogue.

Tender for the Expo 2025 Nordic Restaurant & Shop concession published

The Nordic countries will participate at the World Exposition Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, with a joint Nordic pavilion already contracted. The Pavilion shall include a Restaurant/Cafe and a Shop. For this purpose, the Nordic Cooperation will entrust the execution of necessary works and the provision and the management of necessary services to an economic operator (Concessionaire) whom will have the right to exploit those works and services. The tender has been published on the Ted portal by Innovation Norway on behalf of the Nordic countries.
